Clear Confusion

Walking on the road, with its innumerable twists and turns,
A path struck out, fantastically long.
The path, the legs longed to learn,
And the mind broke into an impromptu song.

Hidden behind spangled grasses green,
A dew dropped, pretty pink winked and preened,
Neither an illusion, nay a delusion,
It was nothing but clear confusion!
